Hillside Art Gallery & Studio is based in the small town of Ballyragget, 16km from Kilkenny, the medieval capital of Ireland. Many heritage sites are situated throughout the county and close to the gallery and studio, with Kilkenny itself famous for the Arts Festival held every August.

The Hillside Art Gallery and Studio is home to John Walsh and Colette O’Brien and we run a series of weekend workshops in mosaic, calligraphy, watercolour and more. We would like to welcome you to the panoramic views and tranquil settings that surround the gallery, an ideal location and environment for beginners, improvers and advanced artists in any medium.
